To broaden and facilitate understanding of the environmental, social, governance and business indicators by which Bracell’s Sustainability Strategy is measured. Progress against these indicators, along with Bracell’s contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is reported annually by the company in its interactive Sustainability Report. The Indicators center also helps explain what are the most important socio-environmental issues for Bracell, in the view of its stakeholders.

Bracell’s Vision and Sustainability Strategy are visually represented by a star, in which each of its points represents a pillar of the company’s performance.

When accessing our Indicators Center from a Desktop (computer) or via Mobile (mobile), users should click on the points of the star to find out more about the material topics, GRI indicators and SDGs related to the selected pillar.

The indicators corresponding to each of the pillars are distributed throughout the Bracell Sustainability Report 2021.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international independent standards organization that helps businesses, governments and other organizations communicate their impacts on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. GRI Standards allow organizations to publicly report the impacts of their activities in a structured way that is transparent to stakeholders and other interested parties.

A Sustainability Report is a document used to report transparently to external stakeholders on a company’s progress against its sustainability commitments and targets. A Sustainability Report may also describe a company’s sustainability strategy and report on its operations against various ESG indicators.

These are the most important socio-environmental issues in the view of Bracell’s stakeholders, who are consulted in the materiality study. This study involves the analysis of internal documents, external regulations and benchmarking, and research on sustainability trends in the paper and forest products sector.
